flaws in design

Bjorn I am a devoted fan of your versions of sokoban. It is the best. Up until now I've never been discouraged by the amount of time it takes to solve any puzzle because I've always been confident that a puzzle is solvable. However recently I have found several of the puzzles in Sokomania have flaws in the design and cannot be solved. I can see where they are flawed and now when I spend a lot of time on any puzzle I wonder if there is a discrepency that I cannot see and wonder if I'm wasting my time. Is there any record of these flawed puzzles that a party can refer to in order to avoid wasted effort? Thanks, A Young

It works like this. The authors of puzzles, send me their creations and I make them available for download. I have to assume that the submitted levels can be solved, since I don't have the time to test them all. There are programs that can solve sokoban puzzles, but they take a lot of time to do it and occasionally fails to find a solution even if it can be solved.

If it can be proved that a level can't be solved, I will remove it from the file.

I have no record of unsolvable puzzles, but I have started a new topic http://www.sourcecode.se/sokoban/forum/viewtopic.php?p=109 regarding Sokomania.

bjorn, if you don't mind sending me new levels before you release them to the public, I'm willing to test them for you. I have a very high level of skill with Sokoban, so if I find one that I cannot solve, then chances are it is not solvable. I am also quite proficient with the Sokoban Solver software, to check my results with.
