Why different level numbers?
Why that strange numbering 794:798 and 795:799 ?
I copied the 2 solutions given by Mark, and imported them into my scoreboard.
They were both valid solutions.
I only had to find out, what levelnumber (as given on mine computer) belongs to the first solution, and what to the second solution.
Mark's solution for:
Hi, in my counter there is all minus one level.
So the previous level is actually 799.
The actual 798 is similar (remodel)
Level:
Solution/Moves 1154/290/123/72/119/549
The first number is the level number in the file, 1, 2, 3 ... for every level in the file. This number is only shown in the level selector.
After the ":" is the identity of the level. Which can be a number or a name. The identity is of course used to identify the level with the corresponding score/solution in the score file.
It gets confusing, when a collection of levels has numbers for identities, but has missing levels. There can, for example, be missing levels when duplicates have been removed. In these cases, I can't just renumber the levels and publish it, since that would make all scores and solutions invalid.
Like Bjorn said, some levels were crossed out,
so the numbering is not equal to level identity.
The another problem arised because the new Bugs
collection has 998 levels and I have the old one with
1003 levels.
Level: '
Notice' Nr: 0 Collection: ' test in C'
Title: Buddy Casamis 1003 798
Solution/Moves 614/97/57/48/57/308

Mark's solution for:
is on my computer numbered as: 794:799
Marks solution for:
is on my computer numberd as: 795:799
Why this confusing numbering ??
