Erim Collection

I checked Level 14 and 14New from the Erim collection in the Sokoban Puzzle Solver 3.7.2. This program indicates that neither puzzle can be solved.

Is this correct? Is there another solver program that someone can recommend that might be a better one to use?

Is is easy to delete levels from a collection that cannot be solved, so that the entire remaining collection's ball can turn to yellow when the good levels are solved?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Actually, they are both solveable. Here are solutions I came up with, but only the first halves of each level Wink ...

The first part of 14:

  Moves/Pushes/Box-lines/Changes/Steps/Pusher-lines: 102/26/16/12/15/60

============================

The first part of 14new:

  Moves/Pushes/Box-lines/Changes/Steps/Pusher-lines: 101/24/18/14/17/65

If you're still stuck, let me know and I'll drop another hint.

Hi CellarDweller,

You are absolutely right. I must have copied and pasted the puzzles incorrectly into the solver. I am having some problems editing the solver set-up and getting those changes to "keep" while I ran the solver itself.

I will try these puzzles later this afternoon. Thanks for your help.

By the way, have you ever used one of the solvers for the fun of it? If so, which one?

I use SPS 3.7.2 when I'm desperately stuck beyond hope. Once in a while it will say that a level is not solveable when it really is. I've also seen it go forever trying to solve a level, and never solve it. But all in all I like it better than others I've tried. Don't remember which ones they were, but SPS seems to be the better of them.

That's what I thought I said.

Is there an echo in here? Lol
